Hide Safari Camp is an experience that combines the best game viewing in Zimbabwe with a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Unlike most other camps in Zimbabwe, no long drives to the park are necessary. In fact, the one and a half hour drive from Hwange Main Camp to the camp actually takes you through the National Park, serving as an introductory game drive and your first taste of the Zimbabwean safari. Guests stay in our comfortable furnished tents, each with its own en suite bathroom - consisting of hot water showers, basins and flush toilets. A choice of twin and double beds are available. Each tent has its own private verandah looking out over the waterhole. The Hide has earned a reputation over the years for its fine cuisine. There is nothing like a herd of elephant wandering down to drink to make a meal even more memorable. A wide variety of game can be seen in the camp's immediate vicinity, and this often includes elephant, lion and rhino.
